HEAVY ARMOR

This feat allows character to use Heavy Armor. Character must learn rank 1 for Light Armor and Medium Armor feats to unlock Heavy Armor feat. Heavy Armor offer best defense against damage. Armor cannot protect you from damage types: dark energy, mental, poison, bleeding. Damage Reduction reduces the damage in % that health points suffer. Special heavy armors usually offer bonus to Constitution or Strength attribute.

15 points Penalty to Reflex Save

30% DR against DPS

30% Penalty to Energy Force Powers
5 points Penalty to Reflex Save

Rank 4:
Evolution A: +10% DR against DPS
Evolution B: -10% Penalty to Energy Force Powers

Rank 5:
Evolution A: +10% DR against DPS
Evolution B: -10% Penalty to Energy Force Powers
Evolution C: Heavy Armor Shield

By default a shield takes a hand slot to use to give Shield Points to the character. Heavy Armor Shield perk allows you to install shields into your armor, leaving your hands free for weapons or other items. Shields installed in the heavy armor have no penalty to shield points.

Armor: Armor was generally divided into three classes: light armor, medium armor, and heavy armor. Light armor usually came in the form of woven cloth or thin plastics. Medium armor, by far the most common, was made up of small ceramic or metal plates. Heavy armor was designed for front-line combat, and is usually fully enclosed.
