INCINERATE

Incinerate is a tech attack with high-explosive plasma round fired from the user's hand tool that inflicts damage over time to all nearby enemies. It bypasses Ray Shields unless Ray Shields have Arkanian perk. If target wins a reflex it suffers only half damage and burning effect is not applied. If target fails reflex save it starts to burn. You can burn any target that is not immune to fire or that does not have Arkanian shield perk. Ray Shield with Arkanian perk only puts shield points in front of your health points. If Incinerate destroys those shield points and damages health points, burning effect can be applied, depending on the reflex save.

Evolution C: Shield Burn

Burning Effect deals additional fire damage equal to your intelligence modifier for number of turns equal to your intelligence modifier. During burning effect, target suffers penalty of DR on their armors, which means armored target are open to higher damage. You cannot apply burning effect on shielded enemies unless you take C evolution at rank 5. Base damage still applies on the shield points, and if shield points are not destroyed, the burning effect will fail. Burning targets are immune to chill and freeze effect.

Fire Explosion is triggered if you hit Burning target with Overload or another Incinerate. Fire explosion deals fire energy damage that equals to 100% of the damage done with Incinerate. If burning target is a droid or a shield target, and Fire explosion is triggered with Overload, then damage gains additional boost of 100%. This Fire explosion damage can be increased with B Evolutions. Fire Explosion can be triggered by others.

Cryo Explosion is triggered if you hit Frozen target with Overload or Incinerate. Cryo explosion deals cold energy damage that equals to 100% of the damage done with Cryo Blast. If frozen target is a droid, and Cryo explosion is triggered with Overload, then damage gains additional boost of 100%. This Cryo explosion damage can be increased with B Evolutions. Cryo Explosion can be triggered by others.

Incinerate: To use incinerate you must equip a proper tool in your hand. This means that you are subject to overload of the overheat perk. Users of Incinerate must equip Pyro CTI.
