SHIELD DRAIN

This tech power is typically used against droids, and shields. It has no effect on other targets. By damaging droids or shields you will be able to restore your own shields or shields of your team mates. This power damages HP and SP of the droids, but only SP of organics.

Droid Lock perk allows you to lock a single droid target into the spot. Target must fail on reflex save to be subject to Droid Lock perk. If the target fails reflex save, the user of Shield Drain can keep damaging droid's HP and SP and keep restoring own SP. Every turn a Droid attempts to break free from Droid Lock with Intelligence Modifier, otherwise Droid Lock lasts until interrupted or aborted. Locked target by Droid Lock is unable to perform any action. If the target is killed with Droid Lock (and not with any other dps), the killer gains immunity to SP loss, as well as bonus to damage of all tech abilities by 25%. Note that during the drain, you are subject to sneak attack. Victim can break from lock by wining a INT mod +1d20, or if user of Shield Drain suffers damage of 20 HP during the drain. User of Shield Drain can abort Droid Lock in every turn after everyone finishes their actions.

Shield Points restored is equal to the full damage done with shield drain. Without this perk it can restore only half shield points of the full damage done with shield drain. Remember, you cannot DPS HP of non droids.

Ray Shield Generator allows you to channel shield restoration effect of shield drain into your allies, giving them shields. This restoration equals to the 50% of the DPS you have done to your droid enemies or shielded targets. You decide how to split the shield points across your allies. Shield Drain can remove Tech Buffs from targets at the cost of not dealing damage. Number of the buffs removed is equal to number of the targets you can drain from. Every removed buff of the Tech origin gives you 15 shield points. This effect does not work against passive buffs or buffs of non tech origin.

Shield Drain: Shield Drain saps enemies' kinetic barrier power to boost your shields. To use Shield Drain you must equip a proper tool in your hand. This means that you are subject to overload of the overheat perk. Users of Shield Drain must equip Power Conductor CTI.
